Amano Shrimp

I have two tanks, a 29 gallon and a 45 gallon. In addition to the fish and snails in each there is a crew of ten Amanos. They are absolutely tireless workers and make for a great cleanup crew! They consistently mow down algae and clean plants, decorations, glass, the substrate. Just make sure you also feed them something, as well, and make sure they're getting calcium!

They are a ton of fun to watch and if they're in a large enough group will be visible and active. Make sure to leave them some places to hide, as well, though.

I bought two Amano shrimp and each have a slight blue tint to their coloration. They have been thriving since I got them, they're very healthy and active. This is a great value, this price can hardly be beat.

Shoppong experience was great and the attendant at the store was very helpful. The Amanos are doing great and helping alot with the brown algae that was growing in my tank (in addition to lowering the overall light to the tank). Thr cherries on the other hand have been struggling. I've lost approximately half of them to unknown cause. All of my water params are agreeable they just seem to be slowly dropping.

This was my first visit and purchase with Reef Life and couldn’t be more pleased. 5 Armano Shrimp are wearing my tank out!
